What’s the Difference Between an “alcoholic” and a “drunk” ?
Question by Lissa: What’s the difference between an “alcoholic” and a “drunk” ?
I asked earlier if I’d be considered an alcoholic, because I never drink during the day, but I get drunk every night. One responder (a medical student) said they didn’t think I’m an alcoholic, but did think I’m a drunk. So what’s the difference??
p.s. I DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE…….I never have, and never will. I know how I feel when drunk and can’t imagine actually operating a moving car!!
