What is the BEST type of rum – dark, light or spiced – to use in “rum and diet coke”?? I will be adding either lime or something else, and I need a rum that will be good with the diet coke. I’m 24 and have always had the girlie sugary and sweet drinks, and have been on atkins for a few weeks – and lol, need a drink!! I want a rum thats not going to be very “alcoholic” tasting and will go great with my soda… Thanks for any and all help!

You shouldn’t be drinking alcohol. Just enjoy your diet coke sans mind altering substance.

The abortion versus keeping debate is one that will never end. However, I personally feel the topic takes a difference stance from the point of view of somebody who does have a diagnosed mental condition. [This question posted in the “mental health” section because of this reason.] So, real situation here (though not mine):

We have a family friend who has a teenage daughter (late teens) who just found out she’s pregnant. Both she and her boyfriend are diagnosed with bi-polar disorder (it’s bad, too). Her boyfriend is pretty much a burnout who has major anger issues. Both she and her boyfriend have alcohol and other substance abuse problems.

If you were in this situation, would you keep the child?
