Signs of Alcohol: What Is Wrong With Me… Advice Please :(?

Question by Aunt Jemima: What is wrong with me… advice please :(?
I’m having a hard time understanding what is going on.
Lately, I have had a lot on my plate. This has been my first year of high school, so its been a rough transition. The homework loads have been bigger than ever before, and due to the classes I signed up for next year, I will have an even larger sum. However, I am prepared for this. Another thing I have had to deal with is a boy. I have liked this boy for about 2 years– I practically love him. However, he only likes me as a friend, which is fine, but instead of talking to me about things he’s just trying to shove me away. Also, I have lost some of my best girlfriends due to their poor decisions to do drugs & alcohol, so I have been hanging out with more guys. My mom, thinks that just because I hang out with guys, I’m up to no good. I SWEAR that I have never done a single drug or even had a sip of alcohol, & I’m still a virgin. My mom was crying the other day when I got home because she was reading “signs your child is involved with drugs or alcohol” & is almost convinced I am.

Alcohol Signs: I Signed a Ticket That Did Not Have My Name on It…? What Should I Do? I Have Court.?

Question by Panfilo Alvarado: I signed a ticket that did not have my name on it…? What should i do? I have court.?
So practically, about a two months ago. I was stopped by a cop and told me that i hadnt done the two previous stop signs correctly. Although, i am not saying that it wasnt my fault but iam sure that i did the two stop signscorrectly. I had seen the police parked and therefore, i did my best while driving. i wasn’t going to go over the driving limit or anything simply because I SAW the cop parked.

The police said that he had seen us do the stop sign incorrectly, but that he had let us drive a bit further and that we had done another stop sign incorrectly. He stopped us about a mile AFTER he saw us doing the stop sign “incorrectly” as he says.

What Is RADD?

Alcohol Abuse And Alcoholism: What is RADD?

1800 college students die nationwide every year from alcohol related incidents, and over 75% of those deaths are vehicle related. Sometimes this gets ignored in the glamorous or stereo typical thinking about college drinking. SDSU is collaborating with an organization called RADD (Entertainment Industries Voice for Traffic Safety). They have a program that the state is helping to fund to encourage the use of designated drivers by providing students with RADD CA designated driver’s licenses. They can show this driver’s license at local establishments and get free non-alcoholic drinks and discounts on appetizers. When the student is ordering and pulls out the card this is their reminder to have a designated driver, and they are less likely to have someone drive drunk. One of their fun late night programs is the go cart racing they do in a large parking lot from 10pm to 1am. They have to test a ‘0’ on a breathalyzer before they can drive, and they are given a RADD driver’s license. This is to promote that they can have fun at this event and drive fast, but out on the real road they have to be safe and remember to have a designated driver and to use their RADD driver’s license. James Lange is the chairman for SDSU’s Alcohol and Other Drug Initiatives, or AOD Initiatives, an initiative that works with colleges to develop campus-wide programs to prevent alcohol and drug abuse. Lange has been the lead researcher on a number of AOD projects and is a consultant to a wide range of
