Is It Depression, Schizophrenia, or Something Else?

Question by Babs Mcgee: Is it depression, schizophrenia, or something else?
Here are the symptoms:

Total apathy

Lost formerly excellent sense of humor

Lack of motivation

No friends

No social skills

Used to have panic attacks, just got over them

Can’t complete thoughts or concentrate

Ignore everything people say and just don’t care

Tired
I just can’t RELATE to people. My mother said that she’d never seen me empathize with anyone. I’m not mean, but I just don’t care. I can’t understand them, and I’ve just given up.
Um, actually Momo, everyone DOES NOT have panic attacks. Everyone IS NOT depressed and lacking motivation.

I’m not going to kill myself, or take medicine, or label myself as “mentally ill”, but if I do have a “condition” I’d like to be able to label it in order to do research. I want to experience a full range of both positive AND negative emotions. The problem is right now I’m not getting any.
