AA or Alcoholics Anonymous says that the expert on alcoholism is the alcoholic. You can get your questions answered at an Open AA meeting. An Open AA meeting allows nonalcoholics to attend…as opposed to Closed AA meetings which is only for alcoholics. Go to the aa website…www.aa.org to locate a meeting in your area. By hearing alcoholics talk about the disease of alcoholism, you should get your questions answered.

Also, Al-Anon is for friends and family members of alcoholics, at an al-anon meeting you would get the whole picture of alcoholism. Their website is…www.alanon.org…to locate al-anon meetings in your community. Good Luck.
