Conway K, is a musician, an mc, and an aboriginal hip hop artist from the Alexander First Nation in Alberta. He not only brings entertainment as a source of satisfaction, but he advocates in being a role model for change. Conway has lived through struggles when it came to making decisions which could cost his life. However, through sheer will Conway managed to overcome alot of the obstacles which his people face on an ongoing basis. Conflicts such as drugs, alcohol, abuse, family violence, or suicide are areas he wishes to challenge in order to create a better life for many. In order to re-develop or rebuild communities must look at their own reflection and be the one to take actions to benefit not only the youth of the community, but the future outcome of it. Conway has traveled and performed all across Canada alongside with his b-boys. Not only has he been from west to the east, he has traveled internationally as well. This video is dedicated to Conway K. He has given me the opportunity to perform alongside him and the Red Power Squad and I am grateful for every moment. It has allowed me to pursue my passion in B-Boying. My partnership alongside this group has taught me skills, which I use to bring inspiration and motivation to communities or groups around me. Through all that I have witnessed on the journeys, it had helped shaped me and gave me a better perspective on life, myself and the people in it.
