Feel At Home Even At A Rehab Center

A Rehabilitation center is the second home for the drug addict patients. Sometimes it is also considered to be the first habitat. The prefix “re” with the process of habilitation puts a stress on the process and that suffices to define its significance in a wider way.

Importance of “re”

Can a society do without a rehabilitation process? Rehabilitation is not just limited to drug addicts, alcoholics but rehabilitation is also needed for mentally disturbed people, for the war victims and for the victims of any type of natural calamity. Why “re”? That means in some way or the other these people have been outcaste from the normal way of living. The cause can be natural or man-made. The rehabilitation center is never like a typical hospital not even like a mental asylum. More or less the setup is quite homely where a person is allowed to enjoy his/her full privacy but also involved into social engagements.

The treatment process is carried in this atmosphere and the patient is treated in a manner so that he/she feels ease and comfortable. The drug addict patient in no way should feel insecure. The person must be allowed to express freely and bring out his problems and crisis in life. Half of the problem is resolved if the real cause behind such development of habit is tracked out.

The habitual behavior of the person has to be groomed in the right direction and this is only possible in a friendly atmosphere. Home is the heaven for every individual and for drug addicts home is initially replaced by the rehabilitation center.
