Jesus Christ plainly stated…Mark 16:15-18- Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every person. He that believes and is baptized(believers) shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned. And these “Signs” shall follow them that believe.
In my Name shall you cast out devils.
You shall speak with new tongues.
You shall have power over the elements of the world. (power over serpents)
If someone tries to poison you or you drink something deadly, you shall not be harmed.
You shall lay your hands on the sick and they shall recover from their sickness.
As a matter of fact. All born again believers have this same commission from Christ..All True Christians are to be like Christ on this earth. (Christian-Like Christ) This is the Kingship of the Believer in Christ. Christians are empowered by the same Holy Spirit that was upon Christ. They are to carry out the duties of Christ as Kings and Priests on this earth until Christ calls. They are to be doers of the Word and not just hearers only being deceived.. Every person who claims Jesus as their Lord as a Believer in Christ, they are to be doing this great commission, if not, they are deceiving themselves..Christianity is Kingship! It is of the highest royal order under Almighty God in Heaven and earth..THe early disciples didn’t just preach the word, the Holy Spirit manifested “Signs” that followed the Word of God being proclaimed.. The two went hand in hand. The word- the signs.. People were being freed from satanic depressions, oppressions, and demon possessions and they were being restored in their spirit, their mind and their body. The commission hasn’t changed. People are in just as much need today as they did then..If signs aren’t following you, then something is wrong..Check with those who are your spiritual Leaders in the Church you attend and find out why..If they say these things have passed away, find you a Church with believing Belivers.. God is pouring out of His Spirit and anointing believers with the power of the Holy Spirit and they are fulfilling the Great Commission of Christ…If you are lacking Power in Christ, maybe this new tongues Jesus taught us is something checking into..There is alot more scripture relating to this subject. Again if you are not fulfilling this command of the Lord, it is time to do your homework and be in the place God is calling all believers to be..Full of faith and power in the Spirit of God…The world needs Jesus and He is manifested in and through you….

I don’t know about the usa, but in Brazil – largely the most pentecostal country in the world (confirmed by searchings) – those signs have followed us. Our churches are pentecostals in its majority and teach to be christians with power and signs of the Spirit. We wish that the same deed the Holy Spirit is making in our nation, he may do also in the usa and all countries. To reach that, people have to believe in the signs, follow holiness and search; but although in some countries christians don’t believe in baptism in the Holy Spirit, these christians are saved people. We can not deny that anyone who believes Jesus is a saved people, no matter if he search baptism in the Holy Spirit or not. The new born and the baptism in the Holy Spirit are two really distinct experiences.
