“Golden Voice” Guy Heading Downhill Already?

Question by PS3 Slim: “Golden Voice” Guy Heading Downhill Already?
He’s been famous for less than two weeks, but the homeless guy with the “golden voice” appears to be slipping already.

Ted Williams reportedly got into an argument with his daughter on Monday night at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa, which became so heated that police were called to the scene.

“It was minor. Both parties were angry but there were no signs of visible abuse,” Officer Catherine Massey told The Associated Press. “They were brought in, calmed down, talked to and released.”

TMZ is reporting that the argument was over money.

Williams is in Los Angeles this week to appear in a two-part episode of “Dr. Phil.” In the second episode, which taped over the weekend and airs Wednesday, he is reunited with his ex-wife and five of his nine daughters, whom he reportedly walked out on 20 years ago.

Williams, 53, trained to be a radio announcer, but succumbed to drugs and alcohol in the 1990s. He has served time in prison for theft and forgery and has been cited with numerous misdemeanors, including drug abuse, according to AP.

But a Web video of Williams standing on the side of the road claiming to have a “God-given voice” seemed to change his fate. Overnight, the video went viral, with corporations and the public agreeing that Williams deserved a second chance.

Since then, he has done a TV commercial for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, recorded voiceover promos for cable news and was offered an announcing job with the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team.

But the cynics out there predicted that it will be tough for the recovering addict to deal with insta-fame — and Williams himself admitted they might be right.

“I wanted a nerve pill yesterday, to be honest with you,” he told CBS on Friday.

What do you think? Are Williams’ 15 minutes up?

So what is your opinion on this?
