Question by HiraB- HubbaBubba: Is this a mental thing or depression?
I’m not sure what’s going on.
Here of some of my “symptoms.”

-Trouble sleeping
-Irritable… I get frustrated easily.
-Lack of concentration
-Falling grades
-Procrastination
-Stomach pains

My family is very nice, I do sports (sometimes I think they give me more stress, and I have friends. I also do community service.

But I get really sad and lonely, and feel like I’m not good at anything.

Could this be depression?
I’m 17, by the way. My parents don’t want to give me sleeping pills because they think I might become too dependent on them. Plus they don’t know I’m so sad, so I don’t have a phyciatrist or anything.
