Hep C Messing With Periods?

Question by Annabel: Hep C messing with periods?
I got diagnosed with Hepatitis C 4 months ago but have a feeling I have had it for afew months more…. Doe’s anyone know if it can stop you from having your period?. I haven’t had a proper one all year (I’ve had one that lasted for a day and was only a spot of blood) I thought at first it was because my Liver function was so high that it was messing with my body, but its been down now for afew weeks…. Still no period, just really bad aches and pains. Pregnancy test negative. Any help much appreciated.

Yes, this is possible. You should check with your doctor.
No one here can tell how far advanced you are in liver disease.
