Amazing My Long, Dark, and Sometimes Hilarious Journey to Sobriety

Amazing is the story of my alcoholism and how I found the strength and courage to live sober. While the story is my own, it is in no way unique. I”m sure that many alcoholics and addicts around the world could pick this book up, change the names and then call it their story as well. My motivations for writing this book are simple and few. It is my hope that my story might help the alcoholic that is still drinking find the strength to recover. It is my hope that his book could find its way into the hands of the person married to an alcoholic and in turn, help them understand the baffling disease that afflicts their spouse. It is my hope that this book would destroy the false stereotypes in our society that alcoholism is a disease of weakness or ignorance. These and these alone are my motivations. Every dime I receive for writing this book will be given to a non profit recovery program.
