Signs Symptoms of Abuse: Can Emotional Restlessness or Distress Be Symptom of Adult ADHD?

Question by Jessica B: Can emotional restlessness or distress be symptom of adult ADHD?

I have racing thoughts, i look for emotional intensity as a means for excitement, and suffer from insecurity and low self esteem. I thought these were completely seperate from ADHD but other information is telling me different, has anyone else had ADHD and found emotional symptoms to be intertwined with it? Or are these emotional symptoms seperate and not apart of ADHD?
