What good is it to defend, deflect and enable a childs problems/issues with others?
What I mean is that nobody will give your more chances and redo’s in life than your parents, agreed?

That being the case, why would you cut them so much slack for things you KNOW others wont. Essentially setting them up for a lifetime of struggles.
