Alcohol Abuse Advice

Life is replete with challenges; disease, disappointment–we are the ones that ascribe meaning to situations and they won’t stop being hurled at us; that’s just part of life. We don’t have all the facts. It’s not up to us to judge other people. A person who speeds cuts you off on the freeway most likely isn’t thinking about YOU. Having optimism at your core will let you assume the best in people and situations. How much more peaceful will your life be? I have alcoholic parents: Therefore a) I am destined to be an alcoholic too, OR b) I’m never drinking alcohol—YOUR choice. The same strong wind that makes one kite crash, makes another soar. Is there another way to look at this?
