take all your life just one day at a time. It seems easy but when you struggle with addiction it can be a difficult thing.
Trust in the higher power and try to live according to his will.
Try not to use your pained feelings about life rule you, causing you to use drugs or alcohol to try to get rid of the pain. Try to face that demon head on and make the pain just part of your experiences.
Most importantly, if you feel as if your going to be lost, talk to others in the group and don’t be afraid. There are NO dumb questions! The only thing that’s dumb is hiding the thoughts or feelings you have. They aren’t there to judge you, everyone in group has been there too.
Your wish to hide your feelings and fear to ask questions to real people are what got you into this mess. You need to learn how to express yourself and not bottle all your feelings inside. If you let them, they WILL help you. Ok? It’s ok to cry, to be scared, and to FEEL. You have a group where it’s ok to talk about it.
“What happens in group will stay in group” that just means no one will tell your family and friends what you share, but you gotta share or you’ll use again.
I give you a big hug and hope your road to recovery isn’t paved with many pot holes!
Peace to you
