I was doing a recent Google search ” Doctors have a high suicide rate” and according to a few studies off the internet, that medical doctors have over 365+ deaths per year (1 per day) due to depression, or other work related issues among surgical physicians and D.D.S professionals!
Anybody find any truth to this?

Yes it is true. Alcoholism and divorce are also prevalent. For hospital doctors it’s attributed to the odd shifts that physicians work and the strain that puts on marriages and family life.
I’ve never really understood why it’s so prevalent among Dentists.
