My Father Is an Alcoholic..please Help Me?

My father always tells me “oh i’m just gonna have one beer”..then it turns into two then three then into about five or six beers. I am too scared to confront him because he always say it won’t happen again but it keeps happening and it’s a never ending cycle..he is wasting money on alcohol..and he mixes it with sleeping pills too and I don’t know what to do.. I know he has a bad branch of friends..and I want to tell all of his awful friends to back off…
I tried just about everything, what can i do?!
