my very close friend is having issues with her alcoholic abusive mother. she is seriously considering suicide. shes called the police multiple times because of the beating but they don’t do SHIT. the school counselor checked to see if she has a case worker which the police said they would get for her. she doesn’t have one. i don’t know what to do or say since my problems are very similar and i haven found a good solution to them either. shes at the end of her rope. i need to give some good advice for once. please.

Call or go to the police. I know she called them multiple times but they didn’t do nothing. Well, have your friend show the police her beatings, they will have to believe her. Tell them her mom is an abusive alcoholic. You see, this is what alcohol makes people do, especially if they have kids. Alcohol makes them violent, and who do they take it out on? Their kids. That’s just plain sickening. Oh, and tell your friend not to take her own life. If she does, you will feel very sad. Taking your own life does not help at all. It will affect other people’s lives.
