Heart Disease ? Help !?
Question by qliphoth ballet.: Heart Disease ? Help !?
I havent seen my Cardiologist yet but this just randomly happened and i’m kind of worried….
I had two flutters under my breast a minute ago and i was perfectly calm, same thing happened yesterday. I went to the ER the night I had the first flutter because i was having a, as the doctors there would put it a “anxiety attack.” but I blame the costochondritis. Its been four weeks since I been off the ciprofloxacin, does anyone thing there could be some damage now ? it’s never done this before. why is it that most of the time the pain is on my left ribcage, near my heart and when i press on it, it hurts……….could there be some connection. ? when i breathe in deep, there isnt any pain, is that a good sign or could it be “prinzmetal angina”, “atrial flutter”, “pericarditis” . ?
I’m VERY worried and I’ve been to the ER six times.
20 years old. 115 pounds. healthy. no medical problems !

You don’t state what your age may be but, if you press on it and it hurts, it is costochondritis and taking some motrin/ibuprofen regularly should make this heal up. If you haven’t gone to WebMd.com and typed in costochondritis, you need to do so – it will give you more advice. As for the “two flutters”, these are called palpitations and cause no problems with the heart. They are usually caused by external causes such as anxiety, stress, medications, too much caffeine, lack of sleep, too much exercise and once you remove the cause, they go away. You can also go to WebMd.com and type in palpitations and read up on this benign condition. I think you are seeking a cardiac cause of what might be simple muscular problems and palpitations.
