Most people who suffer from depression are not diagnosed. Why? Because they don’t feel there is anything wrong with them. They think everybody else is screwed-up and has a problem. The fact is many problems in life start because of some form of depression. But the problems depression causes are treated, because they can be seen. But depression, the cause of the problem is not treated. So the problem, continues to come back and be a problem. Eating-disorders, alcohol abuse, drug addiction, anger issues, sleeping-disorders just to name a few. And because depression is increasing in numbers, things like domestic violence has increased. Teens are being lead easily into alcohol and drug abuse sometimes leading to death. And depression which leads to eating to little or to much is causing many health problems, the same with sleeping to much or to little.
