Carl Hunt, Oakland High School Artist Statement: Through my project, I would like to show my peers what marijuana can do to your brain. My project is a paper mache head with a PET scan that shows how marijuana affects the brain. Areas of color show the lack or presence of brain activity. Marijuana is a problem because kids and adults don’t know the negative effects. I am hoping that through my project, I will prevent people from smoking marijuana and damaging their brain.
