Parents who really love their children are willing to give up something which they really love and enjoy themselves for the health and safety of their children. Young people need parents to direct them and help them make good decision. There is no question in the idea of parents abstaining. The conclusion on one of the study is alcohol use by young people is dangerous not only because of the risk but also for the acute impairment associated with it. Programs are being made and young people are really being educated about the dangers of drinking alcohol.
Encouraging parents not to choose drinking alcohol is the good idea. The patterns and consequences of the youth drinking are closely related to the patterns of the drinking in home and society. The best way to help our youngsters not to choose drinking is to teach adults not to drink alcohol. Telling a child not to drink until they grow is one of the deactivating solutions which teach them drinking is ok and then they wait for that magical age where they can drink. The first drink can be the banging of alcoholism. Half of the children who have drinking in their family can become alcoholic. As parent, we need to teach our children to live naturally. They need to understand the meaning of health life to live happily and we or parents are the major contributor for that. Good parents set good example for their children so that they can teach them good things in life.
