Self Help Alcoholic: Am I an “alcoholic”?

Question by : Am I an “alcoholic”?
I am a recovered narcotic addict of 4years….well…I don’t know if marijuana, meth p, coke, and ecstasy count as narcotics? But Anyhoo, 4years now and I did it cold turkey, no groups meetings no church no doctors. However, since then I have been more prone to drink, it’s part if my “addictive personality” thing. I am over getting drunk or wasted however I do enjoy drinking some wine or beer.
My husband was self-admitted to rehab for alcoholism and a pill problem. He will be home next week and I am so proud of him!
I am wondering though, should I stop drinking completely or just in front of him or all together? should I ask if he is ok with my drinking around him? what if he says “no” and I find its not something I like to hear?
I don’t think I am an alcoholic though I do find reasons to let myself drink each night at least two glasses of wine if not some beer. I CAN control it but, I think the point is, I don’t want to.
Do I have a problem or M. Over analyzing this because dod my husbands’ encounter?
