Question by ridiculouslycurious: i’m wondering if a person can be an alocholic if they don’t drink every day? someone blacked out at a party i?
at and it brought up some discussions. i always thought alcoholism was based on how a person drank and that the frequency didn’t necessary indicate that a person was or wasn’t an alcoholic.

True. A person does not have to drink every day to be an alcoholic, it is the way they use or abuse alcohol that determines it.
