Does Everyone Have a Personality Disorder?
Question by kathy: Does everyone have a personality disorder?
I was looking into personality disorders out of curiosity and took an online test to see my “diagnosis”. I was shocked that 3 different tests said I had borderline personality disorder. There are a couple that I felt might describe me (and most people I know) but borderline was not one of them. Does everyone have symptoms of borderline personality disorder?

It’s all a matter of what traits are expressed. For most people it’s not an issue, while others are extreme enough that they’re considered mentally ill.
