The Dangers of Alcohol Abuse: Opinions on Steroids?
Question by Fyre: Opinions on steroids?
I’m interested on doing some research about steroids.. and something interesting was brought to my attention.
Do steroids get their bad rep mainly because of over dosing?
My question is basically what do you think the effects of steroids would be on people if they were used very controlled, such as something like people cycle creatine (take it for 1 week than take a break for 2-3 weeks). Would they yield any help? Would the effects be as great?
Once again I was just curious mainly because when you read all these steroid abuse cases it sounds like they literally “abuse” them by taking too much? Is there a reasonable amount?
My only counter arguement is I sorta compare it to a ciggerette.. One I suppose isn’t so bad, but when you chain smoke them you start getting in danger, so would it have that effect, where if you do it once in a while it will eat at you slowly?
Just need some opinions thx.

well creatine isnt a steroid but yea its best when you take it for like 2-3 weeks and than take a break. The effect would be much greater because the body won’t be as used to it, so itll be like taking it again for the first time. Abusing steroids would be to use it for every workout and constantly blowing your money on it. The reason it gets its bad rep is because its illegal unless its prescribed, and because so many athletes use it in sports. But yea steroids are bad, it makes dudes look like chicks
