Alcoholism Center Treatment: The American Medical Association and Alcoholics Anonymous BOTH Believe That Alcoholism Is a Disease. T or F?

Of course it’s not so simple. AA recognizes a spiritual solution to alcoholism, so it is not a strictly biological disease in their view if spirituality can overcome it. They also tend to be negative toward things like medications to control cravings, depression, anxiety, etc. But it is certainly a physical condition within AA, and in their view it requires a metaphysical cure.
