Is It Now the Position of All Catholics That Adults Raping Children Is NOT a Crime?

Question by Pure Atheist: Is it now the position of all Catholics that adults raping children is NOT a crime?
http://news.yahoo.com/south-africa-cardinal-says-pedophilia-not-crime-155418854.html

“A South African cardinal who helped elect Pope Francis this week has told the BBC pedophilia is an illness and not a crime.”

So according to the Divine Truth issued out of the mouth of a morally perfect Catholic Cardinal, favored by God, is that pedophilia is a curable addiction just like alcoholism and homosexuality!!!

Priests that rape little boys should not be charged with any crime, it is the Priest who is the VICTIM!!!

Victims of the Pedophile Plague sweeping through every country on Earth in which Catholic Priests, Bishops and Cardinals can be found!!!

Don’t charge child rapists with a crime…send them to treatment!!!

Oh yeah Catholics are trying to fix the problem…and the problem is that in the civilized world adults raping children is a crime.

So Catholics, when will you begin pushing for the decriminalization of child rape so your Priests can continue their decades long rape and abuse of children without any need for the coverups?

Do you agree this is a great solution to the Catholic Church’s pedo problem?

Or do you think this Cardinal that just helped elect the new Pope needs to be punched in the face for such stupidity?
