Question by c:: How to deal with parents taking jokes kinda too far?
I don’t know what’s up with my mom.. She has been taking jokes too far, we were watching tv and you know a joke about special Ed came upon and she says ” oh that’s so you! ” and I was horsing around with my brother.. Since he’s only here for Christmas and he pretended to be dead and I said ” oops I killed him”, and my mom says ” oh good now you can go to jail..”
Idk if my remark to my mom last Thursday made her upset or whatever but I said ” you guys are alcoholics.. ” my dad is an ex- alcoholic and.. I just felt like they drink quite a bit… In fact, every night 1 or 2, I know alcoholics cant stop at 2 but I just felt like they drink a lot… So they took away my phone and then all the upsetting jokes came around. They know I’m sensetive, and they know I’m struggling like self harm and stuff, or.. I think.. She says I do it for attention, only my mom though, and always tells me im lazy…Anyway how can I deal with this madness!
