Signs Symptoms Gallstones: Ok, I Am Having Chest Pains That Come and Go and Usually Only Last a Few Seconds.. Has Any One Ever Had This?

Question by T C: Ok, I am having Chest pains that come and go and usually only last a few seconds.. Has any one ever had this?
The first time I remember this happening to me I was about 18 yrs old. I nearly collapsed at work and my boss had to help me back up, I felt this tightening sensation in my chest under my right rib cage, it was brought on suddenly and disappeared almost as quick as it came on! It was months befor it happend again, but the emergency room said Pleurisy. I had no idea what it meant, but then it kept happening every couple weeks I would have one of these “attacks”.

I am now 29, and been having these attacks for years now, they are becomming more frequent and more severe. My family dr said that my abdominal ultrasound shows i had a gallstone, a large one. This pain literally puts me into a panik attack, I start shaking, I get lightheaded and dizzy.. I am waiting to see what is wrong with me, but in the mean time have any of you experienced anything like this before? Please let me know what this could be.

It’s your large gallstone.

“Gallstones may cause no signs or symptoms. If a gallstone lodges in a duct and causes a blockage, signs and symptoms may result, such as:
* Sudden and rapidly intensifying pain in the upper right portion of your abdomen
* Sudden and rapidly intensifying pain in the center of your abdomen, just below your breastbone
* Back pain between your shoulder blades
* Pain in your right shoulder

Gallstone pain may last several minutes to a few hours. “
