Kidney Disease Symptoms: High Blood Pressure and Hysterectomy?

Question by cookininmykitchen: High Blood Pressure and Hysterectomy?
My sister is 37. She had a hysterectomy 4 months ago. They left her 1 ovary. She is back at school for nursing and they were taking blood pressures of the students. Hers continuously fluctuates. One time it is 160/100, another time it is 120/90. She is a smoker, has 1 child and is modeately overweight. She is not sure if she is suffering from hot flashes or not since she lives where there are a lot of heat waves lately. Our mother passed away at age 40 and the rest of our direct female relatives all had hysterecomies before they reached menopause. I am younger than she is, so – could she be going through menopause since she only has 1 ovary? Any help and answers will be appreciated.
