Question by Johnathan: How do you define an Alcoholic?
Friends keep telling me that because I drink 1-3 drinks a day, alone, and drink when I’m upset to relax, that I’m am alcoholic. However official sources seem to say that to be an alcoholic means you are dependent (addicted) to alcohol (which I am not because there are days I dont have a single drink). Thoughts on this?

Someone that places a higher priority on alcohol than on loved ones/themselves.
