Governor Laile Addresses the Rotary Club of Palm Beach!

Governor Laile Fairbairn, District 6930, has been a Rotarian since 1990. She was a member of the Rotary Club of Bellport, NY from 1990-1993, and the Rotary Club of Patchogue, NY from 1993-1996. She rejoined the Rotary Club of Bellport in 1999 and served as president from 2003-2004. She also held offices of treasurer, secretary and vice president. After moving to Vero Beach in 2005, she became a member of the Rotary Club of Vero Beach Sunrise, serving as treasurer since 2006. Rotary activities include public relations chair, club bulletin editor and various fund raising committees. She is a Paul Harris Fellow and a member of the Paul Harris Society. Laile received a BS in social sciences and elementary education from SUNY Brockport, her MS in guidance and counseling from Long Island University and an Ed. D. in Educational Administration from Hofstra University. Her career in education, spanning 40 plus years in five school districts, included positions as teacher, counselor, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent for educational services and computer technology consultant. She also was an adjunct professor of educational leadership for The College of New Rochelle for 15 years.
