Coast will host Alcoholism forum at UVI tonight 6-8 pm (Tuesday April 10th)
According to Coast, the VI Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Virgin Islands youth are more likely than US mainland youth to report drinking before the age of 13. Coast says it’s addressing that alarming statistic during Alcohol Awareness month this April. Coast on Tuesday night at UVI’s administration building from 6 to 8 pm, is hosting a public forum with addiction advocates to discuss how alcoholism is a disease, and will show a documentary that presents the latest research on alcoholism and addiction.
