Lyme disease symptoms: Knowing is the best thing one can do

The tick actually remains attached to the body unless and until you remove it from your skin. It results in infection, which seems like a bull’s eye and at the center there will be a small dot where exactly, the tick bites. Initially, there might be flu-like symptoms along with fever, nausea, headache, jaw pain, red eyes, sensitivity, stiff neck, and muscle ache.

Many people notes this condition as a flu just because the nymph stage of the tick remains very small and many people do not recall a tick bite. Even though, Lyme disease has been very famous due to its growing awareness. Many people have been the victim of this disease. In this case, it becomes very much important to know about the disease as well as the Lyme disease symptoms. As the major symptom of Lyme disease is the classic rash that occurs in some of the cases or just in 30 percent of the cases. As the identification of the disease is not so easy, the treatment in the early stage becomes critical.

Well, if the disease left untreated then it may creep into someone’s life as well, now either it will take over weeks, or months, or even years. So before you waste much of your time, just understand the Lyme disease symptoms and get the proper treatment. The Lyme disease symptoms are many like:

•    The Tick Bite
•    Rash at the area where the tick actually bite
•    Rashes on other parts of the body
•    Rash is normally circular in shape, or oval and goes on spreading out
•    Raised rash that disappears and again reappears

The Lyme disease symptoms varies according to the area of the body.

Head, Face, and Neck:
•    Inexplicable hair loss
•    Pressure in head, white matter lesions in the brain
•    Headache, mild or else severe, and Seizures
•    Stiff or painful neck
•    Jaw pain or stiffness
•    Twitching of facial or the other muscles
•    Facial paralysis
•    Tingling of nose tongue (especially the tip), cheek or the facial flushing
•    Dental problems
•    Sore throat, clearing throat many times, phlegm, runny nose, hoarseness

In the similar way, there are many areas of the body where the symptom varies in a different way. Such are in eyes or the vision, Ears or hearing, digestive and excretory systems, Musculoskeletal system, Respiratory and circulatory systems, Neurologic system, Psychological well-being, Mental capability, reproduction and sexuality, and general well-being. All of the Lyme disease symptoms are different and may increase if not treated on time.
