EMCP interviews Roza P. on her degree in Anthropology, her experiences let her recognize a need in San Diego to help others who have immigrated to the US like she had. She uses her perspective on cultural influences to counsel those needing treatment for drug and alcohol abuse. We’ll link you with that startup as soon as it goes live. BIO: A resident of San Diego since 2000, Roza graduated from UC San Diego in 2009 with a BA in Biological Anthropology. During her time at UCSD she was a principle member for the Undergraduate Sociology Association (USA). She implemented a sociological scholarship, promoting the scientific study society, and assisted the Department of Sociology in managing the UCSD chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta. Roza is currently completing her CAADAC certification at San Diego City College and plans to further her education in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy.
