In 2007 it was revealed that at 15, Charlize was witness to her fatherâ??s death at the hands of her mother. Charles Theron died in June 1991 after he was shot by his wife, Gerda. Charlizeâ??s father, who suffered from alcoholism, physically attacked her mother and threatened both women while drunk.

Former “Tudors” star Jonathan Rhys Meyers was reportedly hospitalized in London this week after an alleged suicide attempt, according to reports out of the UK. The 33-year-old actor, who has spent time in rehab in the past for alcohol addiction, was reportedly found “slumped on the floor” when paramedics responded to an emergency call from the actor’s home, the Sun reported.
