Docs/Nurses: Why Are My Fingers Tingling and Slightly Blue?
Question by Rosalind A: Docs/Nurses: Why are my fingers tingling and slightly blue?
I’m an 18 yr old female, good health, 5’7″ 125lbs, history of low blood pressure, recently started on the Pill, only medical issues: mild pectus excavatum (does not usually affect me at all) and undiagnosed Reynauld’s phenomenon (my mother/grandmother have it, they’re certain, will be seeing a doctor very soon).
Recently my left arm, in particular my pinkie and ring finger, have been slightly numb and tingly, esp. in the morning and late at night. They are also slightly blue when compared to my right hand. The numbness is slight, sort of like when your leg falls asleep. I still have feeling in both digits but the feeling does not stop easily.
Any idea why this may be, what could be causing this? All web searches/online “diagnosis” machines come up empty, suggest strange diseases that I don’t have symptoms for. Useless.
PLEASE DON’T RESPOND, “WOW I DONT KNOW, YOU SHOULD SEE A DOCTOR.” SUCH ANSWERS ARE NOT USEFUL, PLEASE DO NOT TROLL OR SPAM.
Thanks for your help.

im not a doctor or a nurse, but this happens to me sometimes. and so i think it could be poor circulation. i just make sure i do some form of exercise at least every day and rub body lotion into my hands and my legs in the direction towards my heart because this encourages normal blood flow. i also try not to sit cross legged a lot or fold my arms.
