Michel Martelly Still a “KK Klarin” at 50
A “KK Karin” musician is typically a musician who consumes a lot of drinks while performing on stage. Michel Martelly is number one “KK Klarin” Musician based on my own observation. My intent was not to bash Michel Martelly, but rather to address the issue of alcoholism and alcohol abuse inside the Haitian community. It is my hope that one day the Haitian Compas music community will have an alcohol abuse treatment center to help Compas music musicians recover from alcoholism and alcohol abuse.
