I’m Ready to Go, Tell Me Why I Should Not.?

Question by I’m Ready To Leave: I’m ready to go, tell me why I should not.?
I’m old, sick and tired. Also, I have “done” my job as a parent. My kids are raised and on their own. There is not one reason why I should remain on this earth, I have nothing left to do. Staying would be selfish and redundant. I am loved and I love. I have merely completed my tasks on this earth. If anyone chooses to play the “it’s a sin” card, just stop. I’ve lived long enough to know there is no god at least how most were raised to believe. They are merely stories to scare those that would not conform to the ideals of right and wrong in society. Christianity, through the years, has taken from the Bible want was necessary to live with the rules/laws that was wanted. Don’t take my word, history speaks for itself. Christians even adopted All Hallows Eve, an alleged Pagan ritual. We are told not to practice or have dealings with the “dark arts”, yet is God not Supernatural? Think about it.
Enough of that. Most will say, “Get help!” “You need medication!” I assure you I am not depressed. I’m not an alcoholic nor a recovering alcoholic. I am not now nor have I ever had a drug dependency. I am educated, I hold a degree in Criminal Justice. I had considered furthering my education in other languages but thought better of it as it would be a mute point. Well if I make this any longer it may not be read so I’ll end by saying of course I have regrets but overmuch I would not change anything. Good bye, thanks for you time.
