Question by Morgan: DADS!!! I need your advice!?
I have a Dad….well….kinda….my dad is an alcoholic with anger control issues. He is always trying to retaliate at me…only, I can’t figure out what I’ve done to be retaliated at. He is only happy with me if I am totally dependent on him and he can “help” me….like if I am sick, he is in an especially good mood, but once I’m well enough to be independent, we are like strangers until the next time he is angry. He tells me he loves me, but I don’t think he means it because of the way he acts around me when he’s not wanting something. I feel used and alone…all I want is a Dad who will show me what a Dad is supposed to be…today my friends told me (they work at the local store) that he really creeps them out, too….
