Living With Anxiety and Depression
Living with Anxiety and Depression
Anxiety and depression are both very serious mental illnesses all on their own. Unfortunately, they can also go hand-in-hand, making everyday life very difficult for the person who is suffering. Fortunately, if the conditions are recognized and proper help is obtained, they can be overcome successfully.
Due to the nature of both anxiety and depression, understanding the signs and symptoms of the two conditions is vital for helping a person regain control of life. While one condition doesn’t necessarily cause the other, it is not at all uncommon to see them manifest together. Considering the potential ramifications of both anxiety and depression, early diagnosis and proper treatment is almost always advisable.
Anxiety’s Telltale Signs
Anxiety can present itself in a number of different ways. From very particular phobias to generalized anxiety about everyday living, the actual triggers might vary. Some of the symptoms that tend to go across the board, however, include:

My Wife Has Forbidden Me From Associating With My Gay Best Friend, Shall I Respect Her Demands?
Question by : My wife has forbidden me from associating with my gay best friend, shall I respect her demands?
First of all, I am not even going to lie! When my gay best friend Raymond is in town we get c-r-a-z-y! We usually shop till we drop, then we put on our tight jeans and V-neck t-shirts and head downtown to dance to electronic music all night long! And I admit, when Ray-Ray is around, I can get a little “catty.”
That said, I don’t think it is fair that my wife has forbidden me from associating with Ray-Ray. Before I married my wife, she and Ray-Ray were the best of friends (in fact, I used to get a bit jealous of Ray-Ray for spending so much time with my girl! – they are both French and share of love of fine wines), but now she says Ray-Ray is a “bad influence on the family,” and “an alcoholic.”

If a passage does not express an argument then state “no argument.”.

I Asked Earlier About Someone Living With an Alcoholic, Would You Mind Reading More?
Question by Josephine: I asked earlier about someone living with an alcoholic, would you mind reading more?
Basically, we’re trying to help someone out, so I’m just trying to get info.
The woman, “Sally”, lived with an alcoholic for many years. “Jim” wasn’t always like that, in fact, he was a top-notch guy in the beginning. Sally and Jim bought a house together, and his alcoholism started to come on full force. We would come over and notice holes punched in the walls, ‘spatters’ of liquid all over the place, etc. And Sally was VERY different. She was always sad and would never come out.
