My Wife Has Forbidden Me From Associating With My Gay Best Friend, Shall I Respect Her Demand?

Question by : My wife has forbidden me from associating with my gay best friend, shall I respect her demand?
First of all, I am not even going to lie! When my gay best friend Raymond is in town we get c-r-a-z-y! We usually shop till we drop, then we put on our tight jeans and V-neck t-shirts and head downtown to dance to electronic music all night long! And I admit, when Ray-Ray is around, I can get a little “catty.”

That said, I don’t think it is fair that my wife has forbidden me from associating with Ray-Ray. Before I married my wife, she and Ray-Ray were the best of friends (in fact, I used to get a bit jealous of Ray-Ray for spending so much time with my girl! – they are both French and share of love of fine wines), but now she says Ray-Ray is a “bad influence on the family,” and “an alcoholic.”

How Can I Deal With a Family That Assumes I Do Drugs and Associate With the “Wrong Crowd”?

Question by Gakis: How can I deal with a family that assumes I do drugs and associate with the “wrong crowd”?
When I cough, they acuse me for smoking. If I talk to a girl, they think something is “going on”. If I go out with friends that dress differently it makes them automatically a bad person. Like im sick of these BS assumptions. I’m 18, I should be indenpendently responsible to chose my friends and know what are the “wrong crowds” and not do drugs. Somebody please give me advice to get passed this and give my family a wake up call.

Tell them to stop and that you responsible enough to make your own decisions. Tell them your an adult now and if they can shut up

If all else fails tell them to shut up about it or you really will start doing drugs and chilling with the wrong crouds.
