Question by Hank: Bumped by head on the window. Its bleeding now!!! Help Quick !!?
As i was getting out of the chair, i bumped my head against the bottem part of the window right above my head. Immediately, my instinct pulled my head back down.

Symptoms:
The 1 inch cut has been bleeding gradually for the past 10 minutes.

1st concern: IMPORTANT
Here is what i did about it: i want to know if it was safe and if i should worry about the cut.
1. I went ahead and washed my hair and the cut with just warm water.
2. dried it with tolipaper.
3. I tapped some tolipaper on the cut to get rid of the blood every minute or so.
4. I didn’t have 1st aid alcohol, so i used hand sanitizer (62% alcohol – “ethyl alcohol” i believe)
5. i squeeze it onto some tolipaper and wiped on the cut.
6. Then i attempt to cover the cut with two band-aids, but it didn’t work very well as you can imagine.

Question by Tree Of Life: Alcohol experts? Please help me name this booze?
I like the song “Alcohol Abuse” by Billy Yates and I’m trying to learn the words, however I’m no alcohol expert so can anyone give me the proper names for this booze (named in the song). I just wrote it how it sounds:

1. Mikallo/mehcallo
2.Vanheiser/banheiser
3. Millerlot
4. Yamstell/Yamstill

Question by lazydazy: My friend is an alcoholic – Help!?
One of my closest friends is an alcoholic. I have been friends with her many years and didn’t realize until she recently found out she has very severe liver problems that she is in fact a “functioning alcoholic”. She told everybody that she was going to give up drinking but she in fact for the past 5 months has continued drinking behind everyone’s back. She has been in hospital twice after seizures and has been told by her husband to leave the house if she continues drinking but even after going to AA meetings and a brief stint in rehab she continues to drink behind everyone’s back. She wants to come and stay with me but I refuse to have her in the house while she is drinking. I feel mean but I don’t know what to do anymore. Her husband is going for custody of their young child as he is at his wit’s end. She has no-where to go as her family has virtually disowned her. I fear for her but I also don’t want to compromise my own health as I work full-time and have siblings with mental health issues that are ongoing and I feel exhausted. Any suggestions? Many thanks.
