Drug addiction is one of the worst curses on mankind; the number of deaths caused by drug addiction so far can outnumber the total count of death in the world wars. The Department of Transportation’s (DOT) procedures established for mandatory alcohol testing require the employment of a breath alcohol test such as a standardized breathalyzer, not an alcohol blood test, a blood alcohol test, or a blood test for alcohol.

The categories of testing that are allowed by the DOT are the following: random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion.
