Psychological and Socialogical Factors to Do With Alcoholism?

Question by LivaPud: psychological and socialogical factors to do with alcoholism?
I can think of family not wanting to be around the person, labelling, social exclusion…

Best answer:

Answer by docjp
The primary psychological causal for alcoholism is an intense fear of oneself, taken-on in early childhood and deeply repressed within ones MIND realm.

This fear is unfortunately communicated to the MINDs of individuals around such a person… if they are vulnerable to these “vibrations”. This phenomenon is what causes what is called the “enabler” syndrome.

The main “problem” with treatment today is that few of those who are licensed to treat the alcoholic are actually clear enough psychologically to do so. Since ones own course of psychotherapy is not required today for licensure, the vast majority of those in mental health today are not at all competent to help.
