Don’t Argue With a Drunk

Don’t argue with a drunk

Don’t argue with a drunk. It probably seems blindingly obvious to you, but how many of you end up arguing with a drunk anyway? In this video we discuss why it is a bad idea. Alcoholism in the family is a destructive force that can break families up and can damage the children as they grow up. Marriage to an alcoholic husband, or alcoholic wife, is a stressful situation. In Bottled Up we teach people how to cope with and survive being married to an alcoholic. In Bottled Up we provide a program that was devised by Dr John McMahon who was himself an alcoholic and Lou Lewis, his wife who was married to an alcoholic for 29 years. The Bottled Up program is innovative and advocates that the partner’s of alcoholics change their own behaviour and start to introduce elements into their lives that will empower them and influence their drinkers to change. If you live with an alcoholic spouse, alcoholic husband or alcoholic wife then Bottled Up is for you.
