If you live with someone that drinks, the last thing you should do is accuse him or her of being an alcoholic. Not only will you lose the debate, but they will become upset and in some cases, verbally, physically or mentally abusive. An alcoholic has to be the one to admit that they have a problem and there is no one else that can tell them any different. They will not listen to you no matter what you say. You might mention that the drinking is getting out of hand, but they may not think that there is a problem.

Question by Brooke: Does anyone have alcoholic parents? if so, i need some stories and experiences for a school project…?
I am doing a project for school and i need people’s stories and experiences. if y’all could please include your name (it could be a fake but convincing one) and your state (also could be fake) i would appreciate it. I also have a parent with the “disease”. in my words,” the alcoholic is never finished recovering.” thank y’all in advance :) if you do not want your answer to be public, feel free to e mail me. i need stories of things that they do while drunk ex. throwing EVERYTHING out
