The dust jacket does show a good amount of wear the some small tears along the edges and near the corners. There is a larger tear on the bottom of the jacket on the spine. The jacket is still very well intact. The book itself shows minimal wear along the top and bottom edges and very minute wear to the corners if any. The interior is clear of any marks or writing wit the exception of a group and room number written on the first page inside the front cover.

Recovering Alcoholic – What Should I Say When Others Want to Drink Around Me?
Question by sayuri_k: Recovering Alcoholic – What should I say when others want to drink around me?
I’ve been sober for almost two years, but haven’t done AA, so I don’t really know the “rules” for how I should live life now.
I don’t mind when I’m at parties and everyone is drinking, but my husband asks me a couple times a week if he can have a few drinks. Somehow, it seems disrespectful or insensitive for family to drink in our own house, that’s where I should be safe. But, I’m not the type of person who will say “no, you can’t!” – it’s not up to me what others do.
He wants me to tell him if it bothers me, though. It always bothers me to some extent, but it’s not like I can tell him to not drink for the rest of his life. So what is my role as a “recovering alcoholic”? Do I just say it’s ok for anyone to drink anytime because I have to deal with it forever anyway?
